Learning a Craft, One Stitch at a Time

Introduction to Leathercraft is a community learning programme delivered through OEF Initiative. Launched in February 2026, the programme introduces participants to the fundamentals of leathercraft through accessible, hands-on workshops designed to inspire creativity, practical skills, and confidence in making.

Over its first three months, the programme has successfully delivered multiple training sessions, providing participants with an opportunity to explore traditional leatherworking techniques, understand materials and tools, and create their own handcrafted items.

As the programme continues to grow, OEF Initiative plans to expand its workshops, reach new participants, and create more opportunities for learning through craft.
